Recently, I have become quite very interested in GOSICK for its intricate artwork and nature of storytelling, and have bought some light novels and manga of this series. At the moment, there's traditional chinese translation for a large portion of the works, except for the latest volumes. GOSICK and GOSICKs are different; the latter is like a collection of the short stories within the full-length novel of the former.

One thing to take note, series that are not too overly popular / money-making (like cardcaptor sakura) usually tend to not get translated into english. but fret not, it seems that [anime news network] has a certain review about GOSICK light novel volume 1 in english. time for me to check it out too I guess? But I'm pretty comfy with reading the Taiwan traditional chinese edition.

Just watched GOSICK episode 07. As the Summer Solstice Festival goes on in the village of the gray wolves, more clues about the murder case is found out. At one point, Victorique manages to find sufficient evidence to prove her mother's innocence, but is unable to prove the real murderer guilty. (One evidence from the gravestone of the victim, and the other being that the 15-year-old Cordelia couldn't possibly have stabbed the victim in the back, difference in height)... Meanwhile, strange things happen and Victorique guesses that someone's playing tricks to scare her into leaving the village, and subsequently mysterious death creeps up upon two of the fellow journey companions that followed Kujo and Victorique into the village. With Kujo's protection for life, how will Victorique solve this mystery? Next episode!

I'm guessing the chief elder's assistant is the murderer. Well those who have read the light novels will know the answer ahead of me though.
